Only if you're married.....

Funny thing happened the other night - and we're both still not quite sure how it got started. My side of the story is that I was having this dream of visiting my sister in college and I was looking through a bag I had packed and brought with me. In my dream, I started laughing because of all the stupid miscellenous crap I had in the bag, and I guess that transferred to my waking life.

At the same time apparently, my husband was awake enough to hear me laughing and proceeded to ask me why I was laughing. With that question started my brain processes and I became more awake, replying with "I don't know, why are you laughing?" From then on, it escalated to a huge giggle fest that lasted a good 20 minutes because we had no clue who had woken the other up by laughing..... What was even funnier was that this was at 3 am.....

3 years....

..we've been married as of July 16th. "Boleh tahan" was a comment I made when I mentioned it to my parents :). Seems just like yesterday though that we were still 'courting'...

This year's traditional theme was crystal, modern theme leather. So I got him some comfy Hush Puppies leather mules which he really enjoys and they fit well... and he got me some crystal :).

Baby Room makeover!!

15 weeks ago....

Counting back, 15 weeks ago was end of March. That means that I was pregnant through Rowyn's trial... That really makes you think.....

So far so good, not had any sickness - mostly bloating but interestingly enough I've not gained any weight. I've lost some, but since we found out I'm preggie, we've been feeding me better stuff. We were worried about getting through the first trimester, but that got blown out of the water with the first sonargram visit.In fact, we found out at the end of the first trimester. :P Will wonders never cease?

Reality hits home....

I'm having a baby.

YES! YES! YES!

And because I never got the image up - Fonzie graduated doggie school a month ago :P

Made Laksa yesterday....

... and it was GOOD! We tried for the first time, the Barrett's brand and it was tasty!



Only difference as far as I can tell with the Swallow brand is that it is a lot spicier, even after we took out most of the chilli oil. My mother-in-law wasn't used to it and couldn't eat it. Besides that, I have no complaints :).

Sorry no pictures of the actual cooking - maybe later if I fix a bowl of leftovers ^_^. Piglet got her first taste of laksa!
