A Belated Merry Xmas to me!

Hubby dear let me splurge for Christmas this year and let me order a pair of these:



Isn't it cool-looking? They are a pair of Ugg Classic Cardy boots and currently sell for USD140 .... AND they're back ordered till April!! Gahhhhhh!

What to do? Oprah put it on her Top Ten list, and that made EVERYONE want to buy them.... oh well.....patience rewards those who wait I supposed.... :P

A little quiet on this homefront....

We've been a little busy with the other blog. I guess this one's not going to be as active as it used to be... not that it has been though.

Talking about the baby is so much more fun :).

Moving on up .....

So December 17th is moving closer..... if you haven't been checking out my other blog, Jade's due date was pushed up 10 days.....

It's going to be a crazy week, trying to get everything at work covered, documentation done, duties re-assigned. Thank god I have a team manager now - not a figment of my imagination, he DOES exist!

Then there's the thought that she may decide Dec 17th was too far off and decide that she wants to come visit earlier. Don't worry, the bag's in the car waiting...waiting...waiting.....

I was making the comment to my DH the other day - I feel like I'm playing a video game and I'm moving on up to the next level. My prize? A beautiful healthy baby girl with all ten fingers and ten toes. A girl that I can love and teach all the wonderful things in the world, like how to swim and run; that it's ok for a girl to climb trees; and that it's ok to like bake beans and steamed rice :)...... of course, this is all based on real life experience ;)

a)I have more tattoos than my husband does....
b)I like cream cheese and tomato sandwiches....
c)I am a relocated Malaysian who squatted in Michigan for a while and now live in Texas...
d)My daughter will have a western name, a Kelabit name and a Chinese name.
e)I didn't find out I was pregnant till I was about 12 weeks along.
f)My current cravings include spicey foods (especially thai red curry) and chocolate milkshakes.
g)I wear a titanium wedding band (well, not now since my hands have swelled up too much)
